Maura Ryan’s primary training was under the instruction of Susan Jaffe and Risa Kaplowitz. She attended SUNY Purchase College’s Conservatory of Dance on scholarship where she received a BFA in dance performance and performed many lead roles under the coaching of Richard Cook, Ted Kivitt, Rosanna Seravalli and Bettijane Sills. Ms. Ryan danced with the Purchase Dance Corps and graduated cum laude with extensive training in Ballet, Modern and Ballet Composition.

With a love and passion for children, Ms. Ryan always knew that she wanted to be an instructor. Upon graduation of SUNY Purchase, she completed the ABT® Teacher Training Curriculum in Primary through Level 5 and presents examinations annually. With over a decade of teaching, Ms. Ryan has had the privilege of working with hundreds of children and families through out Central New Jersey. She was a guest teacher at Rutgers University, as well as an adjunct professor for The College of New Jersey. She enjoys teaching outreach programs within the community and provides an excellent combination of hard work and joy in order for students to have a positive and nurturing outcome within their training.

Ms. Ryan’s goal is to connect with students in order for them to feel confident and trust their training process.
